Sometimes it’s just easier to strip Sawyer down to his diaper and let him go. This works especially well after dinner, when he’s smooshed cottage cheese all over his outfit… like he did tonight.

Brushing those teeth
Now that Sawyer has teeth he needs to brush them. He actually really likes brushing his teeth. They have a special baby toothpaste that does not have fluoride. I think it must taste like candy because he really likes it. In fact when we give him his toothbrush he hates to give it back to us. I guess that’s a good problem?
Cake faced
Sawyer really enjoyed Jen’s birthday cake. He had more cake than anyone, and it wasn’t even his birthday.
Sawyer always thinks its his day though.
Sawyer’s bunny
Sawyer has a favorite stuffed animal. It’s a bunny from graeters ice cream. Whenever we read his bedtime story and get to the part about the bunny he wants his own bunny. He points to his crib and sometimes even reaches through the slats to grab it. As soon as he gets it he hugs it. Sometimes he’ll carry it around the house with him, and he always sleeps with it, most of the time cuddled up with it. He likes his blankies too, just not as much as his bunny.
